Transit Cuts Are Protested in Atlanta

Atlanta's already abysmal public transportation, MARTA, is threatened by cuts.  This is one huge step in the wrong direction.  Urban sprawl is the defining characteristic of Atlanta.  It's official slogan is, "Atlanta:  A place people drive to."

The city should be working toward becoming more bicycle and pedestrian friendly, yet the public transit system is about to take a huge blow.
